This course is designed to further develop and enhance your knowledge and skills to work at a supervisory or management level in the childcare service.
Course Requirements
FETAC Level 5 in a vocational related area with a minimum of 5 merits in relevant modules or other appropriate qualifications. Suitability for this course will be assessed at interview

Career Opportunities
This qualification enables graduates of this course to work at supervisory level in most ECCE services. It will enable them to work on their own initiative or afford them the possibility of setting up their own childcare service.
Progression
Graduates who achieve the required standard may be eligible to apply for advanced entry to 2nd year of a degree programme in this vocational area. Entry requirements vary from college to college.
