    This course enables students to work in the area of disability. There is a growing need for all sectors of the community to be inclusive and legislation has been enacted to reach this aspiration. Therefore, successful candidates will study all aspects of the individual from the child to adulthood. Students will be offered specific modules to meet the needs of the community such as Children with Additional Needs and Irish for Pre-School Services.

    Garda vetting must be successfully completed for all courses in the Department of Health Services, Childcare & Youth Work
