The BHCK Diploma of Interior design and Decoration provides the skills and knowledge required to perform design and decoration advice for building interiors. Design and decoration at this level covers the development of complete decorative schemes for the effective use of residential and commercial or institutional interior spaces, working with a client brief and within project parameters.
Career Pathway
Students with a Diploma in Interior Design and Decoration are able to continue towards a Bachelor degree in Interior Design/Fine Arts.
Diploma Components
The 63 credits of the Diploma are composed of:
- 18 credits of General Education courses
- 9 credits of Core Graphic and Interior Design Courses
- 36 credits of Specialist courses

Box Hill College Kuwait ( BHCK) is the sole private higher education exclusive to women in the State of Kuwait . It operates as an extended campus of Box Hill Institute (BHI), Australia. BHCK currently offers six diploma programs in the fields of Management, Marketing , Banking Services Management , Graphic Design , Interior Design and Decoration and Website Development. The program disciplines currently offered by BHCK require 2 years of post-secondary full time study exclusive of any preparatory requirements. The programs are offered in English, and are accredited under the Australian Qualifications Framework and by the Kuwait Private Universities Council and Ministry of Higher Education. Entry to BHCK requires completion of year 12 education and the BHCK placement test. Students may qualify for government scholarship funding which will require a minimum GPA among other criteria. The placement test helps students determine their level of English and Math proficiency. Placement test results determine any preparatory studies required to assure the student can succeed in their chosen academic program of study.

- Applied Arts & Design: deliver internationally and locally accredited Diploma qualifications in Graphic Design, Interior Decoration & Design and Web Design.
- Business Studies: deliver internationally and locally accredited Diploma qualifications in Management, Marketing and Financial Services.
- Foundation Studies: delivers a range of ESL programs and preparatory courses. These courses equip students from non-English speaking backgrounds with the fundamental skills required to succeed in mainstream studies.
