This course has been designed to build your Information Technology knowledge and skills in the area of computer systems administration and network technologies for a medium to large business environment.

This course will suit you if you are interested in networking, routing and switching principles, wireless and voice networks, computer operating systems, computer hardware, database development, cloud and virtualisation technologies, IT service support, IT system security, IT projects and IT systems administration.

You may wish to commence studies at the Certificate IV in Information Technology or the Certificate IV in Computer Systems Technology to ensure you have the underpinning knowledge and skills for Diploma level study.

If you have already completed a Certificate IV in Computer Systems Technology or a Certificate IV in Information Technology, or have demonstrated IT systems administration and networking skills would be well suited to this qualification.
