This Minor Award in Wound Care Management is designed to afford you the opportunity to equip yourself with the evidence based knowledge and skills to effect wound healing, and to challenge current approaches to wound care

Why study this programme?

This programme aims to facilitate you to demonstrate higher levels of critical analysis, problem solving, and decision making in relation to people with wounds. The focus of the programme is the development of your evidence-based knowledge and reasoning in relation to the care and management of a person with a wound.

Entry Requirements

Applicants must have QQI Level 8 or equivalent or apply through the RPL route, and must be current:

• Registered Nurses or Doctors
• Working part or full-time in clinical practice with people requiring wound care
