The University of Jordan announced the launching of a new “Teaching Arabic for Speakers of Other Languages” professional diploma program at its Language Center. The program will begin receiving students this fall semester, and aims at preparing highly qualified professionals knowledgeable in the theories and applications, and well prepared to use modern methodologies and technology in this field. Launching this program affirms UJ's openness to the other and role, as a leading institution, in bringing together different civilizations. The diploma is a program consisting of 8 courses with an integral supervised in class practical training component.

About University of Jordan Langauge Center
The center was established by a Royal Decree in 1979 with a view to opening up to the local and global communities, and is based on the teaching of Arabic and English for students of the We_They, and teaching Arabic to non-native speakers, as has consistently held high-quality exams, according to global standards in language proficiency in the Arabic language for a number of home institutions and its ministries.
The Language center consists of three departments
- Arabic language.
- English language.
- Arabic language for Speakers of Other Languages.
