    This comprehensive course aims to develop the student's skills in sound engineering and music production to an advanced level. Students will receive a solid grounding in fundamental sound engineering practice before moving on to develop advanced techniques in the use of the state of the art recording and music production tools. The course also offers a number of optional industry recognised Apple and Pro Tools certifications.

    A key feature to this course is it's modular nature allowing students build up unit credits over time. This means that students can earn a City & Guilds Level 3 qualification regardless of whether they study one, two or all three modules. Each module offers a separate City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate qualification with a full City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma awarded on completion of all three modules.

    Pre-requisites

    There are no specific academic requirements for acceptance onto the course. However applicants should have a broad interest in all aspects of audio and music production and must demonstrate this at the interview stage. A good working knowedge of computer technology and ideally some experience of music software is desirable.

    The school can provide music software at substantial student discounts if required.
