Course details
The University of London Diploma in Law is not only a qualification in its own right, but also provides an entry route to the Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree.
A successful completion of the University of London Diploma in Law gains credit for the first four subjects of the LLB degree. This programme aims to provide a solid grounding of the law subjects and develops one’s ability to critically evaluate the usefulness of law in different contexts and perspectives.
Admission into the University of London Diploma in Law programme is through the Diploma in Law Admissions Test. This involves the application of a set of legal regulations to a problem, requiring fact management, analytical and writing skills. It does not require any prior legal knowledge.
This course is recommended if…
- You have the ability to study law but do not have the required academic qualifications.
- You wish to have a foundation in legal studies before deciding if you wish to take a law degree.
