This programme will equip you with skills and knowledge covering all areas of event management, including conceptualisation, marketing and sales, coordination, and execution of different events. Modules such as Project Management and Scheduling, Event Operations Management, and Exhibition Management will help you unravel the secrets to inspiring events.

You can expect plenty of hands-on training through attachments to high-profile events and internships with companies such as Koelnmesse Pte Ltd, Experia Events Pte Ltd, Globewerks International Pte Ltd, Singex Venues Pte Ltd and Wildlife Reserves Singapore. Through SOH’s collaboration with The Singapore Association of Convention and Exhibition Organisers and Suppliers (SACEOS), second-year DIEM students are mentored by key industry partners in real work settings where they will be ready to contribute to the industry upon graduation. This valuable real-world experience will give you a head start in building a successful career in event management.

If you have your heart set on a career in attractions and travel industry, the Leisure Travel and Attractions Management specialisation track will help you open the door to this exciting industry.  

Course Outcomes

• Learn to conceptualise, plan, and execute memorable events such as exhibitions, concerts, summits, and more
• Acquire knowledge and skills related to event, hospitality, and tourism management
• Develop skills in attractions management and operations
• Undergo a 24-week Industry Immersion Programme with companies involved in event, venue, or attractions management
