With a growing population here in the Lion City, the number of older people will keep increasing as the years go by. In 2005, the business involving the 50 plus population better known as the Silver Market was worth US$4 billion in Singapore and by 2015, it is expected to increase to US$11 billion.
Our Diploma in Gerontological Management Studies is the only local course that deals with the business of ageing. Students will learn every aspect of managing the elderly be it for leisure, travel, financial products and even health purposes.
Multidisciplinary programmes offer training in the fields of business management, social sciences and health sciences to give you greater flexibility for employment and further education.
Graduates can look forward to a career in various sectors like Retirement Villages, Sports & Wellness consultants and more. Remember, US$11 billion by 2015. This is the industry to be in come the next decade.
