• Framework for acquistion planning and how to select appropriate media

• Donor retention and planning supporter journeys
• The philanthropy of major donors - why they give
• Process to research major donors, prioritise prospects and steward their gifts
• Legacies, including successful legacy creative strategy and legacy metrics
• Trends in corporate giving, donor motivation, categories of corporate support
• Grant writing and the solicitation of gifts from trusts and foundation and statutory funders
• Management of both paid employees and volunteers
• Motivation at work, leadership, conflict identification and resolution and the management of group dynamics

Assessment:

• Assessment of the diploma programme consists of three assignments and a three hour exam. Participants will complete one assignment per month followed by an exam in month four.
