Testimonials

Bryan Ying, MDIS Diploma in Engineering Graduate

  • "I believe that in this knowledge based economy,we can differentiate ourselves from the rest of the competition and it should start with the education and training that we receive as students."

Nitesh Makkar

  • "Not getting into a college of your  choice in India is not the end of it all. So I would encourage people to venture out of India to Singapore and MDIS if they find themselves in a position like me."

Engineering Mathematics I

This module provides students with essential and fundamental skills in Mathematics required to solve real life engineering problems. Topics include functions, vectors, and calculus differentiation.

Principles of Electrical Engineering

The objective of this module is to develop participants' understanding of electrical theories at the introductory level and an awareness of their applications in the engineering environment.

Physics I – Mechanics

This module aims to provide students with the basic concepts and principles of physics and to strengthen the understanding of the concepts and principles through using a broad range of real life application examples. Topics include measurements, motions in one & two dimensions, vectors, circular motions, energy of a system and conservation of energy.

Engineering Mathematics II

This module provides an extension of Engineering Mathematics I. It enhances students with essential and fundamental skills in Mathematics required to solve real life engineering problems. Topics include calculus integration, differential equations, sequence and series and probability and statistic.

Fluid Mechanics & Thermodynamics

This module provides students with an introduction to Fluid Mechanics and Thermodynamics. Topics covered include hydrostatic forces on submerged body, surface tension forces, buoyancy and stability of floating bodies. For Thermodynamics, topics covered include temperature and zeroth-, first- and second- law of thermodynamics.

Physics II – Mechanics & Waves

This is an extended module from Physics I. It aims to enhance student’s basic concept of mechanics and introduce fundamental theory of Waves. Topics include linear momentum & collisions, rotations of a rigid object about a fixed axis, static equilibrium, elasticity, universal gravitations, oscillatory motion, wave motion, sound waves and standing waves.
