Course details
The Part-Time Diploma in Engineering (Electrical and Electronics) provides participants a good foundation in Electrical and Electronic (EE) engineering to equip them for the perse and dynamic EE industry. This programme is unique in that it offers two specialisation tracks in specific fields: Microelectronics and Electronic Communications. These are high value-adding sectors in EE industry with very strong demand for skilled and trained EE professionals.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Participants must possess the following qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 relevant GCE ‘O’ levels or equivalent with at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Relevant WSQ diploma qualification or equivalent (by sector, programme and/or level-preparatory programme may be required) with 3 years of relevant working experience.
- NITEC ≥3.5 with at least 2 years of relevant working experience.
- Higher NITEC with at least 1 year of relevant working experience.
Applicants who do not hold the above qualifications will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis with a written/oral assessment.

Working adults who wish to upgrade and be trained to take on high value-adding jobs in the Electrical and Electronic industry.
