    The Diploma in Design Communication aims to meet the needs of the creative industries in Singapore and the region for talented inpiduals in Design Communication, including fields such as advertising, graphic design and illustration, among others.

    Its curriculum centres on the process of purposeful enquiry, utilising rational and appropriate visual research methods to create effective solutions to real world problems. This process is designed to enable you to develop systematic ways of working which lead to successful outcomes based on experiments, visual testing, materials investigation, and reflective evaluation. This reflects the programme’s distinctive teaching philosophy of “thinking-through-making’. Comprising studio practice, contextual studies and technical studies modules, you will discover new ideas, skill sets and ways to work with different people, to think, observe, debate, question and play.

    Upon completion, you will be equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge required by the creative industry to develop original, relevant concepts and effectively communicate clients’ needs through a fundamental design process in your professional practice.
