Diploma in Arts

Course details

The Diploma in Arts consists of eight courses developed by the University of South Australia (UniSA) and modified by M2 Academy for local students. The courses in the diploma include:

• English 1A: Academic English Part 1
• World History Trends and Transformations
• English and Creative Writing: An Introduction
• Introduction to International Relations
• Introduction to Language and Communication
• The Social World
• Effective Communication
• Media Contexts

Requirements

The programme is designed for students with the following qualifications:

• 17 years old and above
• 3 GCE “A” Level credits with average C grades including English or Higher Nitec ≥ GPA2.5 (equivalence considered through interview)

OR

• GCE O-Level, GCE N-Level or ITE Nitec PLUS an approved Tertiary Preparation certificate (or equivalent)
• IELTs 5.5 or equivalent (For international students only)

The programme is also suitable for mature-age learners looking to return to study and progress their career.

What wiill I learn?

• Explain how concepts and topics relate to the operation of global media
• Enter the University of South Australia’s Bachelor of Communication and Media
