    Course details

    This is an introductory course to introduce students to Adobe Photoshop. This course will teach the students how to make use of the Adobe Photoshop software to do simple editing and creating an Art piece, by making used of their photos taken in during their photography lessons.

    Subjects covered

    • Introductory to the Adobe Photoshop interface
    • Files creations and the purpose of different kind of files extensions and colour output
    • Introducing the tools in the Photoshop interface
    • Simple editing techniques
    • Layering methods and techniques

    Students will produce a collage of the photos taken by them to create a storyline of a given theme in the last 4 weeks of the course.

    Assessment

    Practical work: 70%

    Class Participation: 20%

    Attendance: 10%
