Course details

(new entrant) course is to equip learners with the skills, knowledge & understanding to safely operate & use a Tractor Dozer

Course Objectives:

On completion of this course the learners will be;

• Aware of the current Health & Safety Legislation as it applies to the safe use of a Tractor Dozer
• Operate a Tractor Dozer safely

Course Programme:

• Safety, Health & Welfare at Work Act 2005
• Employers & Employees legal duties under current Health & Safety Legislation
• Understand the relevant Health & Safety legislation
• Identify workplace hazards regarding the use of a Tractor Dozer

Training Methods:

Classroom based presentation on power-point. Learners will gain some practical experience operating a Tractor Dozer under the supervision & direction of our highly experienced instructor.

Who Should Attend?

Those employees who are responsible for or in control of operating a Tractor Dozer while at work

Additional Information:

• Maximum of 3 learners
• FÁS CSCS Identity Card & FETAC certification will be awarded to those who successfully complete & pass this two day course
• Learners must have an up to date Safe Pass Card & their own PPE (e.g. Safety Footwear etc….)
