Digital Media is one of the few bright prospects of the Irish economy. It has grown despite the recession and is one of the few industries where jobs are regularly on offer. Whether its a sole trader or a multi-national, all businesses require a presence on the web to attract and inform customers. Digital Media encompasses the vast range of skills and careers that are involved in production of media for the internet. There is a huge explosion in popularity of applications such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Youtube.

This course is designed to provide an introduction to Digital Media and help you create content using

  • Photography
  • Video
  • Podcasting
  • Graphics
  • Digital Editing and Formatting

Course Outline

This course is delivered over 15 Hours direct tuition and will provide participants with all the relevant skills required to use digital media content to create and manage social media sites.

Outcome

Each participant will produce a portfolio of content for a Facebook business page, LinkedIn and Twitter profiles and a Youtube Channel.

Course Requirements

No previous experience required but each participant must have a laptop or tablet.
