Creative MakeUp Course: What the Industry Needs

Students will be thoroughly educated on every aspect of the three Year Creative MakeUp course content, both theoretically and practically, making this an intense mode of study. Graduates will be able to adjust to any area of the industry, from fashion styling and make-up artistry to hair styling and business operations. Every element of this Creative MakeUp course is continually reviewed to ensure that the techniques and materials being used are representative of the latest trends and industry advancements.

3 Year Creative MakeUp Training Course

Training will take place in the LA College of Creative Arts taught by a core team of reputable make-up artists, fashion stylists, business tutors and hair stylists. Each class is conducted in a highly interactive manner with a significant level of practical work completed every day. Students are encouraged to hone their skills in additional practical work outside of the classroom, securing freelance projects where possible.

A popular component of this 3 Year Creative MakeUp course is the ongoing photo shoots that take place throughout each year. These promote team work and a deeper understanding of what is required to work as a leading professional in this field. These final photo shoot images will also ensure that all participants graduate with a portfolio of work to aid them in their future career development. In semester one of year three all students are required to take part in the LA College of Creative Arts Career Placement Programme. This provides an invaluable opportunity to apply newly acquired skills and techniques in a professional setting, working with some of the industry’s key personnel and brands. 

LA Creative Arts College team welcome industry professionals from across the globe to teach a series of themed master classes. These reputable experts offer valuable insight and teaching in the most recent practices and techniques in fashion styling, make-up artistry and hairdressing. Classes of this nature also give students an opportunity to network and make valuable industry contacts for future employment and collaborative projects.

After travelling extensively across the world studying every element of the make-up and beauty industry, Lorraine returned home and spotted an immediate gap in the market for a college that offered a superior level of training in creative arts.
