The Certificate in Advanced Taxation Planning and Advice course which also leads to the Certified Tax Adviser (CTax) Qualification, offers a unique and exciting higher level qualification in Tax for accounting and legal professionals.

This HETAC validated programme is placed at Level 8 on Ireland’s National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) and consists of 15 European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) credits and is in line with European higher education standards.

WHO IS IT FOR?

The Certificate in Advanced Taxation Planning and Advice and the Certified Tax Adviser (CTax) Qualification is specifically designed for financial professionals who wish to gain an advanced understanding of the latest tax issues affecting business. The course will place heavy emphasis on the practical application of Tax Law. The Certified Tax Adviser (CTax) Qualification and the Certificate in Advanced Taxation Planning and Advice will enable you to remain at the forefront of your profession, stay abreast of developments in tax and demonstrate to both clients and employers that you have enhanced your professional qualification and expertise.

On successful completion of the course students will be awarded a Certificate in Advanced Taxation Planning and Advice from Griffith College and the designation Certified Tax Adviser (CTax) from CPA Ireland.

The course is delivered in 8 modules, on Saturdays from September to end March. Each module will run from 9.00am to 4.00pm, will earn 6 hours CPE credit and consist of a lecture, scenario analysis, mini case studies etc.
