    Overview
    This course will help both new and more experienced line managers prepare for and run successful performance appraisals. During the course delegates will clarify their role and responsibilites as appraisers aligning appraisals to organisational success. The course will guide delegates through the appraisal process from preparation and planning for the review meeting using a fair and equitable systematic approach to establishing rapport and open communication during the review assessing performance and then following up with an appraisal report personal development plans and Performance Improvement plans where needed. By the end of the course even new managers will be more confident and skilled in supporting challenging and developing their staff through effective performance appraisals.
