This online top up degree gives you the opportunity to top up your existing skills and qualifications to a full degree. This course covers the three core areas of computing and information technology - networking and security, advanced database development and advanced web development - which are highly sought by employers in the computing industry.
To complement your chosen career path, you can then tailor the BSc top up to your own interests by selecting optional modules in key areas such as:
- Information Security
- Leadership and Management in Context
- Understanding Mobile Technology Development
- Project Management and Implementation.
If you want to move into Information Security, Project Management, IT management, Web Development or Network Security this could be the programme that will help you make that move.
Entry requirements
This course is ideally suited to those who have an HND or Foundation degree in computing, have an Edexcel BTEC Level 5 HND Diploma in Computing and Systems Development, or a BCS Diploma in IT. In addition there is an access route if you have an HNC with 3 years relevant work experience.
If English is not your first language you will need IELTS 6.5.
