This course covers a broad range of subjects with emphasis on computer systems and networks and core network principles. It will equip you with the necessary knowledge and understanding of current technologies that provide network and communication structures to manage various collaborative systems. You will have the opportunity to gain an insight into the design and management of a computer network giving you the edge to excel in an industry which is the lifeline of the modern world. It is designed to provide learners with skill, knowledge and training in the setting up and administration of networks in computer maintenance and Internet use. Learners will also be trained in software development. Ideally, candidates would have attained a pass in Mathematics at Ordinary Level Leaving Certificate.
