This Computer Science course encompasses many aspects of computing from scientific foundation, to programming, web design, IT skills and familiarisation with a range of industrial and commercial applications.

YEAR 1
Computer Programming (JAVA), Computer Architecture and Systems, Mathematics for Computing, Database Methods, Spreadsheet Methods, Communications, Industrial Placement, Web Authoring.
YEAR 2
Windows Programming (visual basic), Object Orientated Programming (Java), Data Communications, PC Maintenance, Web Authoring, Relational Databases, Communications, Networks.
CERTIFICATION
FETAC Level 5 and 6
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Leaving Certificate, with a minimum of a Pass grade in Ordinary Level Maths, and an interview. Mature students are welcome.
