Course details

This course is designed to give students the opportunity to acquire the skills necessary to implement and support PC systems and networks. Successful graduates of the course can look forward to a rewarding and challenging career in this rapidly expanding field. Students will supplement their studies with work experience in a relevant area.

Awarding Body:

Further Education and Training Awards Council - FETAC- (QQI) Certificate - Computer Systems and Network Award Level 5.

Career Opportunities:

Students who complete the course successfully will be prepared for immediate entry into the employment market as Computer and Network Support Technicians.

Minimum Entry Requirements:

Leaving Certificate/Leaving Certificate Applied or equivalent standards of education. Exemptions may be granted to mature students. All entry is subject to interview.
