- Networks provide a way to centrally manage devices and to apply much needed security. It's vital that one adheres and recognizes all of the industry standards, practices, and network theory before implementing a network. In this course, you'll learn basic network theory. You'll also learn the standards involved with wired and wireless networks, including the different network policies and procedures, and best safety practices. This course also addresses how to structure equipment and cabling and the change management process. This course is one of a series in the SkillSoft learning path that covers the objectives for certification exam CompTIA Network+ N10-006.
