This evening CompTIA Network+ course validates the knowledge and skills of IT and networking professionals. Network+ is an international, vendor-neutral certification that recognises a technician's abilities in essential skills for example to install, configure and troubleshoot basic networking hardware, protocols and services.
The part-time course includes many topics that help participants to understand concepts of networking, but it is also a very practical course. The qualification is endorsed by Microsoft, Novell, Cisco, Compaq, and Lotus, among other leading vendors.
Comptia Network+ certification is designed to start or advance your networking career. Some participants having gained a basic knowledge of computing through other training, choose this track to enhance their knowledge by going beyond the use of a basic PC. Network+ is a popular track with individuals looking to become Network Administrators, or to validate knowledge of networking by becoming certified.
The aim of this course is to help to prepare you for CompTIA's Network+ Certification exam. Network+ Certification has been created as a benchmark for local area networking installation and support.

Mature Students - If you are 23 years or over from the 1st January of this year, you can apply for this course directly using the College’s online application form. A member of the College’s admissions team will be in touch to discuss your course entry requirements. Under 23 Years - 5 Ordinary Level, Grade D3s or above in your Leaving Certificate (subjects to include Maths and a language) or equivalent exam taken. Successful completion of CompTIA A+ certification.
