The Complementary Medicine course aims to provide a foundation in areas such as Full Body Massage and Onsite Massage. Three types of certification are on offer; FETAC level 5 certificate, ITECdiploma and Certificate in Tuina Acupressure.
The Certificate in Tuina is awarded by Active Health who are affiliated with Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, the World Health Organisation’s representative for traditional medicines.

How do I get in?
An interest in Holistic Health with suitable educational background. Interview with the course coordinators. There may be a written aptitude test. Certification/portfolio/references/evidence of relevant experience will be taken into account. Biology is not essential but would be an advantage.

Preferences for places in the second year of the Complementary & holistic therapies course is given to those who have a satisfactory first year attendance record, a full FETAC certificate (i.e. 8 modules) and the required ITEC Diplomas
