    This course is for the animal enthusiast. There is no strict emphasis on a certain animal or animals on the course. Instead learners are introduced to principles and techniques that allow them to potentially work with a variety of species.

    Progression is advised where business and enterprise skills can be learned; fundamental to wildlife parks and sanctuaries, pet shops and similar industries.

    Entry Requirements

    • Leaving Certificate (5 passes)
    • Leaving Certificate Applied

    or equivalent

    • Applicants of mature years will be considered on their merits

    Work experience in Animal Care is of an advantage in application
