Companies Act 2014: Module 4: Dealing with the CRO and Insolvency Issues is a single module delivered across a webinar and classroom based courses over different dates.

Course Content: 

This session will cover:

  • The four categories of offences, Major offences in each category, Criminal Justice Act 2011 and Liability of Accountants specifically.
  • Sunday 14th June: Examinership and Winding Up - Classroom/ Live Streaming Time: 10.00am - 11.00am. This session will cover:
  • Where Examinership is suitable,How and where to pursue an Examinership, Steps to be taken to prepare, Acting as an Examiner, Acting as an Independent Expert
  • Appointment, Role of the Circuit Court, Winding Up, Deeming a company insolvent, Who can seek a winding up, How can it be avoided and Acting as a Liquidator.
  • Sunday 14th June: Dealing with the CRO - Classroom/ Live Streaming Time: 1.30pm - 3.30pm. This session will cover:
  • Strike Offs, Restorations, Filing Returns, Managing the Transition and Rectifying defective statements.

Learning Outcomes:
