This course deals with the historical, philosophical, and sociological foundations of education and addresses current societal and legal issues affecting education today and those that may come into play in the future. It will also provide a detailed overview of legal and ethical issues affecting the profession.

Participants will be able to demonstrate an understanding of historical, philosophical, sociological, and political foundations of education.
