Now this is where it gets exciting for you if engineering is your cup of tea but want more time to make that ultimate choice. The Common Engineering Programme is a common entry point for eight diploma courses here at Temasek Polytechnic.
You will spend the first year learning and assessing the industry trends and your area of interest before selecting the diploma of your choice in the second year.
The eight diplomas are:
- Diploma in Aerospace Electronics (T50)
- Diploma in Aerospace Engineering (T51)
- Diploma in Biomedical Engineering (T38)
- Diploma in Clean Energy (T52)
- Diploma in Computer Engineering (T13)
- Diploma in Electronics (T05)
- Diploma in Mechatronics (T06)
- Diploma in Microelectronics (T05)
The Common Engineering Programme will give you the flexibility that you need in today's dynamic and rapidly evolving industry without having to make a rash decision early on. For those of you who have always wondered how the cranes at the port are put together or how the conveyor belts collect your luggage at the airport works, do not hesitate anymore. Pick up that form and make the right choice.
Do note that you will take the same three years to complete your course, and upon graduation, you will receive the same diploma as your peers who had enrolled for a particular course right from the start.
