Course details
This is a half day course designed to provide learners with the knowledge of the hazards & dangers associated with the combi lift, racking or clamping.
Course Objectives:
On completion of this course the learners will;
- Be aware of the legislation & guidance applicable to the safe use.
- Be able to correctly load & manouvre
- Be aware of the hazards & risks associated
Course Programme:
- Overview of the Safety, Health & Welfare at Work Act 2005
- Safe loading & unloading procedures
- Dangers associated with overloading
- Correct measurements for safe racking
- Batterycare & maintenance
- Practical exercise & assessment of skills
Training Methods:
Classroom based presentation on power-point. Practical assessment of skills while operating.
Who Should Attend?
Those responsible for operating a motorised pallet truck in their workplace as part of their daily duties.
