Collage with Discarded Materials

Course details

Guided projects will culminate in 4 or more finished pieces depending on individual's pace of work. MH will introduce participants to techniques for creating collages out of an array discarded materials such as plastic bags, envelopes, magazines, product boxes, paper bags and newspapers and discarded clothes

Items to buy for this class

Participants are required to buy their own materials beforehand and bring them to every class

• 1 x 30cm metal ruler
• 1 x 30cm plastic ruler
• 1 x eraser
• 1 x H pencil
• 1 x pencil sharpener
• 1 x cutter or exacto knife
• 1 x roll of masking tape
• 1 x medium or large scissors
• 1 x protractor (semicircular ruler)
• 1 x plastic right angle ruler - medium size
• 2 x UHU sticks
• 1 x A3 plastic clear pocket folder
• 1 x A3 cutting matt
• 2 x very thin permanent markers
