The Certified Management Accountant (CMA®) credential is the advanced professional certification that delivers tangible value. Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, in any area, from an accredited college or University.
  • A listing of International and US institutions accepted without evaluation is available 

Professional Work Experience Requirements:

  • Candidates for the CMA® Certification must complete two continuous years of professional experience in management accounting and/or financial management.
  • Professional experience is expected to be gained in full-time employment.
  • This requirement may be completed prior to or within seven years of passing the examination.
