Clinical Practice Improvement Program (CPIP) is a practical and systemic approach of improving and maintaining the quality of the patient care by using objective statistical evidence gathered from everyday clinical practice to achieve desirable outcomes.
It places accountability for clinical practice improvement and outcomes directly with clinicians and clinical leaders within the unit or department.
