Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Routing and Switching is a certification program for entry-level network engineers that helps maximize your investment in foundational networking knowledge and increase the value of your employer's network.
General Objectives
- Validates the ability to install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot medium-size routed and switched networks, including implementation and verification of connections to remote sites in a WAN.
- It includes basic mitigation of security threats, introduction to wireless networking concepts and terminology, and performance-based skills.
- Includes (but is not limited to) the use of these protocols: IPv4, IPv6, Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), VLANs, Ethernet, access control lists (ACLs)…etc.
