Course Description

The CCNP certification validates a network professional's ability to install, configure and troubleshoot converged local and wide area networks with 100 to 500 or more nodes. Network Professionals who achieve the CCNP have demonstrated the knowledge and skills required to manage the router and switches that form the networks core, as well as edge applications that integrate voice, wireless, and security into the network.

Recommended Pre-requisites:

• Skills in installing, configuring, and operating basic network infrastructures.
• Cisco Certified Network Associate knowledge is required.

You need to pass three exams before you are awarded your CCNP certification, these are:

• Cisco 300-101 Route - Implementing Cisco IP Routing
• Cisco 300-115 Switch - Implementing Cisco IP Switched Networks
• Cisco 300-135 TSHOOT Troubleshooting and Maintaining Cisco Network

The CCNP will improve an Associate-level's credential such as the Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA), making it desirable and respected by employers all over the world.
