Our Chemical Awareness Training course is designed to provide learners with the necessary information, regarding working with & using chemicals safely while at work.
Course Objectives:
On completion of this course, learners will be able to;
- Be aware of the legislation surrounding the safe use of chemicals
- Identify the symbols & labels associated with chemicals
- Identify the most appropriate Personal Protective Equipment

- Chemical Agent Regulations
- Routes of entry of hazardous materials into the body
- Warning symbols & labels
- Material Safety Data Sheet
- Spill & Safe Disposal Controls
Training Methods:
- This is a classroom based training power-point presentation with some group exercises for learners.
Who Should Attend?
- This course is intended for all staff involved in handling, storing or using chemicals as part of their normal daily work duties.

- Certificate of Attendance will be issued to all learners who attend this course.
