CFA Program is a professional credential offered by CFA Institute to Investment and Financial professionals. The CFA Program has three different Levels. CFA Level I exam is the first level of qualification under the CFA certification program offered by the CFA Institute. Ideal for finance professionals working or entering in the investment field and banking sector, CFALevel I training can be availed by professionals who want to increase their expertise and marketability in the finance domain. One can register for only one exam at a time. Each exam is conducted in two sessions (morning and afternoon) with duration of 3 hours for each session. CFA Level I is the first level of qualification within the CFA certification program. CFA Level I exam includes 240 multiple choice questions based on basic knowledge on investment tools. The main eligibility requirements for a candidate are:
- A completed bachelor's or equivalent degree, OR

- Have 4 years of professional work experience can be non-investment related, OR
- Have a combination of full time professional experience and college education that totals at least 4 years
Exam Structure
CFA Exam has 3 levels which need to be passed sequentially in order to gain the CFA Charter. Level I exam is scheduled in June and December (first Saturday) each year and Level II exam is scheduled only in June (first Saturday) every year. One can register for only one exam at a time. Each exam is conducted in two sessions (morning and afternoon) with duration of 3 hours for each session.
