Overview
Six Sigma is a disciplined and quantitative approach involving setting up a system and process for the improvement of defined metrics in manufacturing, service, or financial processes.
This Six Sigma program will include elements of Lean or Lean Manufacturing, which work extremely well together. While the Six Sigma aspect will focus on reducing variation, shifting the mean and delivering within customer specifications, the Lean section will focus on eliminating waste, delivering value striving toward perfection. The two work hand in hand as the benefits of each are benefits of the other.
