The CMA exam consists of two parts, each of which is a 4 hour examination
The exams consist of 100 MCQs and 2 essay style questions
The exams can be taken in January/February, May/June, and September/October
The minimum passing score is 360 our of 500 for each part
Minimum entry requirements
To get your CMA qualification, you must meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Hold a bachelor’s degree, in any discipline, from an accredited college or university
How long does it take?
The CMA programme lets you proceed at your own pace and since there are only 2 exams it is possible to complete your CMA in 6-12 months. However you must have completed two years of professional experience in management accounting either prior to, during or after passing the exams.
