Course details
Welding skills can be applied for various purposes including construction, fabrication, repair and maintenance. The Certificate: Welding will enable the handling and operating of electric and gas welding equipment whilst maintaining relevant occupational safety standards. Likewise, the programme enables the performance of different welding processes and techniques to different types of steel and metal. Welding skills can be used across different industries and allows for further specialisation in the mechanical environment.
Entrance Requirement
Grade 10 (Standard 8) or equivalent, or verifiable and relevant working experience (2 years) preferably in a technical environment.
