The Certificate: Sport Psychology includes skills and competencies required to understand the dynamics and importance of psychology in a sporting context. Focus areas include the application of psychological principles to sporting performance and activity with specific reference to motivation, mental preparation and attitude. The programme also creates an awareness of personality and human factors in sport performance as well as the mastering of concentration to enhance performance.
