The primary purpose of the qualification is to provide knowledge and skills equipping learners with the ability to start their own security management firm or manage security services for an organisation. The programme allows for the development of skills and competencies in Human Resources Management, Business Management, Business Communication, Risk Management, Loss Control, legal background and procedures as well as Occupational Health and Safety, The programme is contextualised for the security industry and also places a solid focus on safety and security principles and practices.

Grade 10 (Std 8) or equivalent or verifiable and 2 relevant working experience
