Develop and enhance your skills in graphic art, graphic design, industrial design, product design and related design studies with this course. You will learn about design concepts, and selecting the right techniques and media to communicate ideas.
Develop an understanding of graphic design techniques, colour application, typography and digital production. Design history, drawing, 3D modelling and visual effects are also covered.
Your major studies will include design (including 2D, 3D and colour theory), design process and theory, digital modelling (3D), graphic design, illustration, typography and creative thinking. This course is the first six months of the two year Advanced diploma of Graphic Design.
What employment opportunities will I have?
Although you gain skills necessary to pursue a career in the design field, the purpose of this course is to prepare you for further study.
