This qualification is knowledge-based and is aimed at learners who are currently working within the Retail sector, and who have the opportunity to specialise and wish to develop their knowledge and understanding of the sector and industry.
Syllabus
There are four mandatory units and a number of optional units which are assessed via multi-choice exams. The following are the mandatory units which must be passed:
- Understanding customer service in the retail sector
- Understanding the management of risks to health and safety on the premises of a retail business
- Understanding the retail selling process
- Understanding the development of personal and team effectiveness in a retail business
Entry Requirements for the Certificate in Retail Knowledge (Level 3)
There are no formal entry requirements; this qualification is open to all learners.
