Operations Management is an area of business concerned with the production ofgoods and services and involves the responsibility of ensuring that businessoperations are efficient in terms of using as little resource as needed and effectivein terms of meeting customer requirements. It is concerned with managing theprocess that converts inputs (in the forms of materials, labour and energy) intooutputs (in the form of goods and services).
The overall aim of this course is to provide delegates with essentials of OperationsManagement in all sectors of the economy including: manufacturing, financialservices, health services, government departments, etc. The course will allowdelegates to explore key aspects of operations management and help themconsider how they can improve their impact as an Operations Manager.
