    MODULE CURICULUM
    FUNDAMENTALS OF ECONOMICS
    This module will provide a broadly-based introduction to the study of economics. It is designed for students wishing to familiarise themselves with the basics of economics.
    INTRODUCTION TO ACCOUNTING
    This module will provide a basic foundation of knowledge and skill in financial and management accounting.
    INTRODUCTION TO MANAGEMENT
    This module will focus on the foundations of management, covering the essential concepts in management.
    ASSESSMENT AND EXAMINATION
    At the commencement of each module, students will be provided the assessment mode and weightings for the module. Most modules have several points of assessment, which may include assignments, tests, projects and final examinations.
    AWARDS & PROGRESSION
    Students must pass all the modules in the course in order to qualify for progression to the Diploma in Business Management programme. Graduating students will be issued a result transcript and a certificate of completion from Asia Pacific International Academy.
    FEE SCHEDULE
    The total investment for this program is S$5,000 payable over 2 equal instalments. The total tuition fee covers face-to-face lectures, course materials, seminars, assignments, examinations, diploma certificate on completion and transcript. However, it does not include textbooks.
    MODE OF DELIVERY OF COURSE
    The course is 100% face-to-face lecture. The course work includes attendance of lectures, discussions of case studies, presentations, completion of group and individual written assignments.ASSESSMENT AND EXAMINATION

    ADMISSION CRITERIA
    Applicants must be at least 17 years old;
    Minimum 3 GCE 'O' level passes (grade 1 to 6) including English as a first language;
    Other qualifications will be assessed based on the equivalence to GCE 'O' level examinations
    English Language Requirement
    GCE 'O' level credit pass in English; or
    IELTS with an overall score of at least 5.0; or
    TOEFL score of at least 500 (paper-based); or
    An equivalent English Language qualification
    The Certificate of Business Management is not open for direct application. The selection into the programme is based upon recommendation by the Admissions Office for those who have applied for the Full-time Diploma in Business Management but failed to meet some of its admission requirements.
