Certificate in Business Management

Course details

The Certificate in Business Management programme is a pre-diploma preparatory route programme designed to provide and equip students for entry into their respective pathway .

Learning Objectives

1. have a sound foundation for understanding contemporary business issues;
2. understand concepts in management;
3. develop skills to analyze real world business issues;
4. demonstrate and enhanced capability in analytical, diagnostic, investigative and writing skills

Modules

1. Following are the 4 modules ;
2. Introduction to Marketing
3. Introduction to Principal of Accounting
4. Introduction to Business Management
5. Business Communication I

Mode of Delivery

Modules will be conducted in formal instructor-led classroom sessions where students are introduced to the course discipline.

Assessment and Grading

This programme is assessed in the form of Test, Examinations and Assignments/Project with weighting as below;

1. Test/ Examination – 70%
2. Assignment/Project – 30%

The passing grade for this programme grade is 50%.

Minimum Age requirement

15 years old

Entry Requirement

Min. "N" Level with 3 passes OR its equivalent

OR min 9 years of Formal Education with pass in English Language .

Students unable to meet English Language requirements will be required to take a 3- 6 months Windsor Business School's English Language programme

Language Proficiency

MINIMUM equivalent to IELTS 4.0 , Or TOFEL 400 or pass the Windsor Business School's Certificate in English (Advanced Level)

Graduation requirements:

Student must at least have a pass grade for all modules of the course
